The view from my "office"

re: The view from my "office"

I went to the one in Günzburg, Germany, a couple of years ago and this one compares favourably with it. A good selection of rides, but perhaps not as many static displays. The miniland area was quite extensive, though.

Billund is still on my list. :)

Unusual weather in PERadise today. Weak cold front came through with wind and showers this morning. Had cleared away to perfectly still by about 4pm.

My cue to head to the beach for a run and a swim - and a nice sunset with a navy vessel heading out.

I got to spend another 2 hours in the passenger seat looking over an "L" plate again this morning - these were one of the many views (while practicing parking)

I you were teaching parallel parking, then I think the student in the second photo needs more practice. :)

My sort of view

We were having a BBQ lunch in our backyard (Post #2028) today, when suddenly my daughter yells "Snake". Just a harmless green tree snake dropping down from the tree to the right, being pursued by several angry birds. Couldn't get my phone out in time, but the excitement was soon over and it was back to lunch.

It is nice seeing your neck of the woods through the eyes of a visitor (albeit a regular visitor)

I'm becoming a self appointed ambassador for North West Tasmania.Really do love the place.

Today I was in Newcastle, NSW and I had the chance to go for a walk around town.
The views from the recently opened Newcastle ANZAC memorial walk are quite spectacular.

Not to mention the walk is a fitting tribute to those who fought in WWI.

I highly recommended this walk if ever one is in Newcastle.
