The plan is to plant Roses in Chiang Mai and it would be nice to have some colours in between the Roses. Petunias are gorgeous but are seasonal.

I'd love to know the name of this tree. Not sure it's available in Thailand. Jacarandas would also be perfect but very hard to find.

I'm told that the Skillagolee Reisling is one of a kind ... I have not tried it yet but heard very good reviews from customers.Entree duty for Christmas lunch. When 1 doz oysters = 1 lobster tail ea (in price). The KISS principle rules!

There were quite a few tracks that I found fascinating wondering if they were critters or just natureIntriguing track beside the train there - wondering if it was the fabled giant snow bunny.
That is a train I have thought about for a long time. There were quite a few tracks that I found fascinating wondering if they were critters or just nature
There are multiple trains not just the Glacier Express - check out the other services. I was supposed to be on the Bernina Express yesterday but ended up just catching an ordinary train and the views were still great. The trains were spotless and clean windows unlike the Italian train the day before. I couldn't believe the number of trains on Christmas Day and it stopped at a lot of really tiny places. When we left there were at least 8 carriages and 23 people on boardThat is a train I have thought about for a long time.
We have a week in Andermatt in Feb, and was idly thinking about whether we should take the Glacier express to Chur, on our way to Innsbruck.
As tempting as it sounds I think we need to leave and arrive earlier.
Thanks... will have another look. There are multiple trains not just the Glacier Express - check out the other services. We did the Bernina express a few years ago. There is a summit you get view by getting off the train and then catching the next one. We went in summer but the view was obscured by low cloud. Of course two days later when we returned from St Moritz when we couldn't stop, it would have been perfect.I did the yellow trip Christmas Day. I had an hour in St Moritz
I’m doing the red trip tomorrow. I’m not staying in Zermatt because I didn’t want to sell a kidney

It was a beautiful clear blue sky day yesterday. In fact I was wishing the sun wasn’t so bright when I was trying to take photos through the windowWe did the Bernina express a few years ago. I think I've grown up with Skillagolee. Winery is very nice and we went there mid winter this year. Although wasn't a fan of their baked artichoke which was part of their Feed Me menuOne of our “go to“ Clare Valley Rieslings from several favourites from the region.
They also have a great restaurant at the cellar door!
I thought that St Moritz was more expensive. We really enjoyed the town centre in Zermatt and walked in and around for hours. Zermatt is meant to be vehicle free but that seems to only apply to IC powered as there are many delivery vehicles. The railway trip up past the Matterhorn is spectacular and if the view is clear the surrounding mountains will use up a lot of data. Enjoy your touring.I did the yellow trip Christmas Day.
