I spent a bit of time back in the office over the past few weeks.

Here’s a view from 1A (where it doesn’t really matter):

Waiting for that aircraft to land before we were given clearance to enter the runway and depart.

After departure.
This is one of the clearest views I’ve ever seen of Jakarta, due to the fact that a nice heavy storm had just rolled through and given the atmosphere a good scrubbing.

Here’s what Jakarta usually looks like. In this case, approaching CGK from the north at about 5,500ft from 3A in a Garuda 737. 😊

Photo in previous post was taken on 13 Dec 22. This one was from 17 Dec.

Yes it's like I don't recognise Kings Cross during the day, I've never recognised JKT from the air.

The place needs a good electrical storm and all those negative ions to clean it up.

6B exit row Saab 340 to SYD. Good leg room.

Update: CM moved me to 6C after the evacuation brief. I’m guessing weight distribution?

Worth noting that there is no one else in row 6. Just me. May be that’s why?
