The view from my "office"

Did you catch the registration number? They’re older than some AFF’rs….
I wanted to, but I was told (quite sternly) not to take photos or use my phone on the tarmac 🫣🫣 just touched down in SYD. Will see if I can catch the rego.

Btw, the exit row I’m on - the hand rest in seat 6C is missing. I’m guessing broken ?

Not usually on this flight path.

The dirt area on the north aspect is now in full scale development and all properties pre sold.

Our place is where the red line is. Corner apartment.

Link Airways Saab340 to CBR. Seat 4B.

This is a newer Saab I think. Compared to the one this morning, you’ll notice that the seats are newer, cabin is very clean and the fixtures look new as well. The seat belts are lengthier as well. The seat belt on the morning service was just fitting to me. This one’s are super long. And might I add, once again, definitely new slim seats. Very good.

Update : The FA, Peta was very friendly and engaging. I asked her if this was a newer Saab and she was surprised that I noticed. I said her that I was one the VEA this morning and it looked very old. She was like, yea, probably, but this is a new one. I even told her about the length of the seat belt and she was surprised. I explained what I meant and she said that she’ll let her supervisor know and ask someone to inspect. As we were approaching CBR, she made an cabin announcement that if anyone would like to provide feedback about any aspect of the trip, we are welcome to do so on the website.
I also mentioned about the missing hand test on the exit row window - she said that its possible that it’s broken, but as it’s an emergency exit, there is a mechanism to retract the hand rest as needed.

If 25 yo looks newer, I’m wondering how much older the VEA should’ve been to look “older” 😂
It‘s only a year or so older.

Some of the Rex assets are now over 30+. Well, at least the airframes. The replacement props are newer.

6B exit row Saab 340 to SYD. Good leg room.

Update: CM moved me to 6C after the evacuation brief. I’m guessing weight distribution?

Worth noting that there is no one else in row 6. Just me. May be that’s why?

Just like my flight back from Tunisia last night, pays to level up for Speedy Boarding etc. with Sleezyjet as we had a spare middle both ways in row 2 there and back. On the flight back they specifically mentioned the blocked seats etc. were for aircraft trim, which he then also went to go and explain in laymen's terms for those who didn't know what it meant.

Anyway, 12 hours later and back at the LGW South Terminal, rather than the North I flew into just before midnight.

My current office, more BA planes parked up than usual.

Choice of 2x Brut Champagne and 1x Rose, better than what I had at LHR a few weeks back.

What shall I do with the 15 bags I didn't check in...? 😏
