Recently had several hours with this view.



I never get sick of orchids. Mum has quite a few at home. She has a smile from ear to ear when they are in season. Wish I could learn the secret.

My pick for a special birthday next year is Glaciers - but in Alaska. We will be on a cruise ship in Glacier Bay on the day. Hope my view is as wonderful as yours.

From today's lunch-time walk - the City of Calgary has re-developed a section of river shore. And just like city authorities everywhere, they find ways to waste tax/ratepayer's money such as this lighting thing. I hope that the birds can at least roost in it.
