You are missing some gorgeous weather Steady! After a high of only 10oC yesterday in Melbourne it was over 32oC here in Perth! I did miss the sunshine by the time I got to the pool but the pool was warm

On VA this morning to MEL - I'm not too crash hot on my geography so best I can offer is large mountains covered in snow!

I'm not to hot on geography but given Australia's history on naming things I'd say they are the snowy mountains.

Luck - It's actually not that often one gets to see the snow on the Alps - in summer there little enough to be seen from the air and in winter they are normally cloud bound

That's why I flicked the iPad camera on, I could not remember seeing that view before. Was the day for it as had a beautiful view coming back too - and a lovely vista over Canberra. I'm sure we normally track more towards the coast.

Fairly ordinary view from my hotel room. Yesterday was clear and hot; today smoggy and humid.
