Just when you thought you'd made it through the border checks, smuggling items... a few km down the ride hid a 2nd set of customs / Police. Their profiling was spot on as all the cars and vans they had pulled over had cigarettes falling out of the boot they were so far over the limit!

I didn't find the shopping in Andorra to be that great to be honest.

Scallop agnolotti, with the 2 semillons. I had the Hill of Peace at the Brisbane dinner and was looking forward to it again.

Lamb, with 1998 and 2018 Cyril.

Wagyu sirloin, with some truffled sauce

French cheeses, with Noble 2016 semilllon

The spare glass was for some muscat, served with the chokkies and coffee/hot chocolate after.

Makes me wish I was your friend Rooflyer…. :(

It was a long day in my ADL office (hire car) driving around seeing clients in their homes and offices.

Lovely sunset in Ridgehaven before I drove back to the airport:

and saying goodbye to my temporary city on my way to my next city office (DRW)

Saying goodbye to my temporary DRW office as I head home.

Darwin AFB is right next to DRW airport and some of the US aircraft currently on training / war games. Double width runways allow for multiple fighters to take off in formation. I missed catching a photo of the lone fighter that took off.

RAAF Base Tindal is actually just outside of Katherine. That's RAAF Base Darwin on the southern side of DRW airport. There's usually a half decent array of US Marine gear there at the best of time. However exercise Talisman Sable starts today so there would be more than the usual amount of foreign air force aircraft there now.

Also, I think your camera lens could do with a clean ;)

Right you are @Daver6, I stand corrected and made the changes.

No the camera lens is (relatively) clean, that was the pitted outside window of the aircraft. Can’t do anything about that…
