The view from my "office"

Sri Lanka never ceases to amaze me :) I have visited Colombo and other places south. Did not get a chance to do North SL yet .. someday, i will :) Especially, as a person of Tamil origin, I'm sure I'd enjoy northern SL ... There is so much similarity between Indian Tamil & SL Tamil, yet there is so much differences :)
I will do a trip report when I get back. Jaffna was a great experience

Given I'm still recovering from what was likely food poisoning, or similar; my views of Mostar (Bosnia & Herzegovina) have been somewhat limited as I've been staying very close to 'home'. The 38 degrees during the day doesn't help get one enthused about going out for too long anyway ;)

The border control point leaving Croatia and crossing into Neum. One of the more scenic land border crossings I've been too........ and thank goodness they had a little hut with a single toilet in there. It would have been game over if not

Still some nice flowers around town, although the flag looks a bit tatty!

Once you get away from the main tourist area, you get more of a feel for the real city.

I didn't find the shopping in Andorra to be that great to be honest.
I love Andorra, went a few times when I was younger prior to moving to Oz. Only noteworthy shopping I can remember doing there was a pair of roller blades when I was 8 years old

Here's our office today from the older part of an already very old town in Norway. Tønsberg, oldest town in fact. Founded in 871
This particular street has a house that is thought to have been built in 1690.

Video screenshot of Mrs Guvner’s office view in Taormina. She was supposed to fly from Catania to Rome later today, then PER tomorrow but the airport at CTA was fire damaged a week or so ago. They were slowly bringing it back online but her particular flight was canceled a few hours ago. So I’ve hastily booked her to fly from Comiso instead, with a refundable back up plan of a train/ferry/train to Lamezia on the mainland, then a flight to FCO from there if Comiso is affected.
$450 ride fare to Comiso airport, but no other choice really. Palermo airport also affected by fires. I think the whole island of Sicily will be shut off within a few days unless something drastically changes. Weather has been low- mid 40’s every day.
