Well, after the work is done, one has to come home ā€¦ back to CBR today morning ā€¦ reward seat Y ā€¦ Very quick today, out of my mates car by 0603, clear security by 0607, into the lounge by 0610

CBR was very foggy - so our plane was not allowed to depart MEL. I was on the 2nd service to CBR out of MEL, however, on reaching the lounge, I saw the boards that the 1st service to CBR has not departed yet due to clearance.

So a quick brekkie at MEL J, followed by a couple of episodes of ā€œFiskā€. Loving Kitty and the Webmaster in this new series :)

Anyways, the 1st service to CBR boarding was announced. So I rushed to the front desk and see if I can fly forward on the 1st service. But as it was my turn to talk to the agent, boarding for the 2nd service was also announced!

So off to the gate and boarded with no dramas.

We were sitting in the tarmac for a good 20-30 mins. There were a lot of QF planes in the vicinity. And the runway was super busy. The captain came on the PA and announced that our taxi is delayed and weā€™d be out of here shortly. A A330 just pulled nearby - followed by another 717 and we finally pushed back after 1 hour delay in total. Saw the RetroRoo pull up.

As we were landing in CBR, the sky was clear, but as soon as we got close to land, there was a thick blanket of fog.

Yours truly was able to capture the top of the telstra tower, just in time. I shall halt here and give you, my dear readers, a moment to congratulate me on my cameraman-ship (is that the word? ) šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Anyhoooo, touch down, walked over the newsagency to say hi to the folks I know and then onto a Uber and into the city for work.

Hoyts cinema, somewhere in MEL. Iā€™m not sure how many here are fans of Tamil movies. Iā€™m certainly not, but I gave into peer pressure and went to watch a movie when in MEL.

The hero in the movie is Rajinikanth. Heā€™s called ā€œThe Superstarā€. The fans go crazy for his movies, his swag, style and suaveness etc.

This movie was supposed to be his comeback movie. So my mates were looking everywhere to get tickets and were able to score some. And they definitely wanted me to join them.

Anyways, here we are ā€¦ the movie title is ā€œJailerā€

There was definitely a massive fan following and shouting/yelling etc. but then again, this was expected and I was able to immerse myself in the experience šŸ˜‚
