The view from my "office"

In Hobart Today checking out the Salamanca Markets and I just couldn't happen to notice the city's Christmas Tree

Apparently this tree has been rated as the nation's saddest.

I think it's "different".

Nope. Its sad. Better off without it.
The best Christmas street decorations I have seen have been in Hong Kong and Singapore. I think we use the excuse of 'religious offense' as an excuse to do nothing.

Maybe it looks better at night??

My first visit to Bruny Island today and the weather is absolutely fantastic.
The local produce here is pretty amazing too.
So far we have discovered the chocolate factory & Berry Farm for some indulgence.

Here's a few photos of Adventure Bay Lookout:ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1448685704.414657.jpgImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1448685752.675558.jpgImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1448685799.824107.jpg

I reckon a repeat visit is on the cards.

That tree really does look sad.

Ran out of time for Bruny island last time but on the list for our next visit. At least you can buy the cheese at the market.

Its pathetic. Cost about $34,000 and done by Hobart City Council staff to 'save money'.

Maybe it looks better at night??

No.
