The view from my "office"

re: The view from my "office"

We have one of these in our street, it's been around for years. Was very pleased to see it again the other night.
We pass a family of mum dad and two (large) babies at least 3 times a week on our walks. It's always a good day when it's an owl-y day. They are the most beautiful creatures

Time to buy a V8 :)

Not a chance - bought a 1.4l Hyundai Accent instead. Unless your V8 can fly, it won't make much of a difference whether its 7 mins (in no traffic) or 10 mins (in peak hour)

No - one of these
Satellite
:D
Too ostentatious for me....and impractical consider I have 2 kids that will need to be ferried to/from school, etc... how about I put it on the wish list for retirement

My view from my office door is good - a Thai Cafe and Vietnamese restaurant 4 and 5 shops away respectively. Already tried them both out - Thai has whole family thumbs up

Oh dear... the fact you have written this shows me that you just don't get it *sigh* and to think I tried to educate you ;) :p :)

I'm still trying to work out what a Hyundai Accord is :p

That's when you go to a wreckers yard, buy the front end of a Hyundai and the rear end of a Honda and have someone join the 2 parts.
voila-a Hyundai accord.;):lol::cool:

re: The view from my "office"

28 days on 98% helium.. Wow.

Assume that job pays well but must have some long term issues

Not really just a risky job ..... Any injury at these depths means it takes 3-4 days to decompress then another 24 days in a local hospital before I could fly them down to Perth for specialist treatment ( i.e. When a high pressure grease gun backfires injecting copious amounts of gunk under your skin destroying tissues) !

Flying any earlier risks the bends however one considers sea level cabin which then increased costs substantially.( fuel$$$) higher drag flying at lower altitudes !

Yes, I had a brain fade - one of my previous cars was an Accord - try Hyundai Accent instead :D

You're right - I don't get the fascination for cars and speed, so I'm probably a lost cause. You tried ;) :D

re: The view from my "office"

Thrust and noise QF WP... That's what gets me excited ;)
Fits perfectly into a flyer forum..
But I know.. Way way off topic..
Looking forward to seeing the new office :)

Well, you said it Uppy . While I am totally sympathetic to those feelings, a modicum of restraint in revealing one's innermost thoughts in public is sometimes a good thing - as I learned when you gave me a 'eew' serve way back when I was somewhat forthright. What goes around, comes around... ;):p:D:mrgreen:.
