And today. Engerland. With a 6am arrival and hotel reservation at H’row check in at 3pm we were in no hurry. So of course flight arrived early. Just one circle before landing. Through immigration and with baggage with 25 minutes. Never has Heathrow been so quick.

We went to the hotel and first guy said no dice for a room this early. We went to bathrooms to change tops etc and went to drop off luggage at go out. 7.15am. Sigh. And new person at the desk. Checked for rooms and gave us the cards. Yes. Shower time.

From my home Canberra office.
On the building site over the road (ATO office) they were taking down one of the cranes this morning. Not sure I could do the job of the guys up on top dismantling it. There were three - one on the very top, one on the side platform and one under. This was taking down the driver cab.
