Wipeout!

12° Sunny, very little breeze and great swell thanks to the full moon and tides.
Also saw a pod of whales - nice to be back at the home office.

I suggested Mrs H and Miss H stand in this corner office for a photo today.

A roaring easterly, a pumping swell, high tide and perfect timing made for some great photos. 😉🤣🤣

Here’s the sequence I took while they were drying out.

A little known fact an icon of Maitland, NSW Les Darcy worked behind the front bar in the early 20th Century.
Reminds me Jimmy Carruthers was publican of The Bells Hotel at the bottom of Bourke St Wooloomooloo in the 1950's. I owned a terrace opposite (not in the '50s).

I love Lisbon.

The number 28 tram and tarts and I found a great hot chocolate place. My only disappointment was I couldn't bring back cases of some of their beautiful tiles in my suitcase.

It's lovely and flat except when it isn't. Walking on those wavy lines was a little disconcerting.

Enjoy
