Thank goodness for that . If I could convey the feel of the many-hundred hp engines propelling us through the choppy sea, I think anyone would think 'fanging it' was quite the expression.

Of course, if you do the Saffire day trip around Schouten Island, you get on this baby with triple 300hp outboards. "Fanging it" suddenly is inadequate and the donuts they do are amazing!

After 4 days of skiing at Whistler, we have a break day and I am catching up on all the work, so this is the view from my "office" at the Westin looking over the Village. Only another 4 days of skiing to go.

Ships Ahoy !
So Lady Cool Cat and I were just taking a Wednesday afternoon stroll along Port Melbourne just 30 minutes ago when a massive wind storm came through.
We gained cover from the sand blowing in eyes behind a toilet block ( of all places) and couldn't happen to notice a rather sharp metal snap sound nearby.
Once the wind died down it was apparent at what that metal snap sound was.
The spirit of Tasmania moored nearby has been blow 90 degrees during the windstorm, away from the wharf and has major damage to the front bow of the ship and also appears to have run aground.
Somehow I don't think the spirit of Tasmania will sailing tonight out of Melbourne.

So tugs have turned up and have managed to get the ship off the sand bar..... But with damage to the bow, the car ramp won't go up and the ship is not watertight, the passengers who did board prior to the ship moving away from the pier will stay onboard .
