We were also outside.. at the river in Warrandyte.. gorgeous day :)
The ducks were teasing the dogs and I thought we might need to collect the young one from the CBD!

re: The view from my "office"

look like you're in 1A? Try 2A next time. More space on the left behind the drinks section.

Nah, I never fly in 1A on EK A380 - it's too close to the toilets. I was in 3A in that photo. Close to the door, but not too close.

I'm on an EK A380 again tomorrow so will choose 2A and see what that's like.

Ah ok.:) I actually wondered about 1A since there's fewer windows but in 2AK the body of the aircraft on the 380 is slightly wider giving an extra 10cm or so between the drinks and the window.

Never found proximity to the toilet/showers to be a problem on EK 380s. When with MrsTMA usually take 1EF on outward leg and often 2AK when on way home. ;)

Here's 2A from this morning. About the same space as 3A as far as I could tell.

The view never gets old.

Now I have ended up in the Qantas lounge in Sydney, first time in years as I have usually ended up in the J lounge or an international lounge, loss of status will do that.
