We're too early for cherry blossoms, but the plum blossoms are out. This is taken in the Imperial Palace East Gardens, Tokyo.

You must be on the Palm for that shot.

That's correct. Having returned after 12 years i took the hop on, hop off bus to make the most of a free, full day i had. The transfer stop at Atlantis allowed me to take take a detour and driver kindly paused at either end of the 'palms'.

About time you visited again !! ;)

I visit Tas about every 3 years, but just haven't stayed at Boat Harbour since childhood.

Dad worked for the EZ coy in Hobart and we lived in the works village by the river, and had holidays at different points around Tas over 3.5 yrs. But Boat Harbour was a favourite.

Today's office-a walk via the shale, ferny gully and Mersey river tracks in The Warrawee reserve outside Latrobe.A great walk even though 5 trail bikes tried to upset me.

I stayed watching this little fellow for 20 minutes-

A great place for seeing platypi.Always check the pools at the picnic area.I have seen them ~ 70% of my visits there. Now a little down the river track I saw another example of Tassie's wildlife.A Taipan probably a little over a metre sunning itself on the track. It quickly slithered off.Taking a pic was the last thing on my mind so only an occasional pic on the way back to the car.
