Did you do the Melbourne to Sydney 2 nighter? We nearly booked it last minute but then a few other things at home that needed attention got in the way. I was on the ship in October and found it pretty good as Princess ships go, certainly better than their other ones in Australian waters.


Golden Princess? Wasn't that ship formerly called the Golden Staph?

Afternoon tea at the Qantas meeting rooms in Melbourne - the chocolate coated strawberries were fantastic - mind you - they would want to be at the price they charged for a meeting for the day

Kudos to Hertz for the generous upgrade from basic car booked on points. Made the unpleasant task of driving in Italy much more comfortable.

Wine tasting in a small shop in the town of Panzano.

The owner used to live in Sydney for a few years before returning home to open his own wine shop. His knowledge and passion about wine is remarkable. The tasting took almost 2 hours and included at least 25 different local wines.

I had my 50th birthday in Castellina in Chianti and remember my visit to Greve because of this statue - enjoy

Forage Markets were on over the road this evening - foods from around CBR.
A couple of glasses of local reds, some Thai, French crepe and some locally made lemon marshmallows - yum
