Lots of screeching this morning just after dawn. I just rolled over but my wife got up and took these photos of Western Corella's pillaging one of our BookLeaf Pines. Lots of snipped off buds, etc now littering the ground. Can't really feel too mad about it as they are so amusing in their disreputable way - and at least it wasn't a fruit tree.

Certainly a big problem for the agricultural industry and can understand control measures - but I am prepared to live with them in my backyard
