The view from my "office"

This camera was an Olympus OM-D - M10, one of their micro four third cameras (their cheapest). It had a Panasonic Lumix 150 - 300 mm lens. I bought the camera when we went to South Africa a couple of years ago. it's OK but photos are not the quality of those that daughter gets with a full size Canon EOS80D and Tamron lens. On the other hand it was about a third of the price and is a lot lighter and smaller. Here photos are the animal ones in the Playground and you can see the difference in definition.
The setting was on Auto tonight as it was too hard to set aperture and speed when the fireworks had already started. I didn't do any post production on them so they are pretty raw.

I heard it, but could only see the glow from my place. Great pics.

Saw plenty of the jet though as they tend to go right over my house before the lake. Saw plenty of it from my real office last night.
Yeah, it did a practice yesterday. A couple of years ago we had it travelling straight past our place and shaking the windows. Now that was spectacular.

No photo as I didn't have my phone but Little Richard, who lives in the penthouse suite here, just said good morning to me at the elevators.
