Hang ... a car like that with all that clutter waiting to damage it! Perhaps he'd like to store it in my garage?

On another note, that looks like a roll of fibreglass up behind ... I trust he isn't fibreglassing on that machine ... it ain't a Stingray!

Same issue here. I went a few years ago with my sister and have to say it's awesome.

I was amongst about the first 100 or so in when the gate opened at 0630h and wandered all over until a little after 0900h.

I didn't ask anyone about the relative clarity of the day but I suspect it was quite good. The pic I posted (taken on my iPhone 7) was taken around 0830h. What I did notice was that earlier pics were not as clear. The lower sun angle and less light intensity didn't cut through the smog as well, so the building didn't glisten.

I conclude that it is not really worth getting in at opening time. My recommendation would be to go in about an hour after opening. The crowd was really starting to build up about the time I left.

Apparently visitors number about 15-20000/day.

Do that! It is one of those places that does exceed expectations, no matter how many pictures of it one has seen.

India is a bit different but hardly threatening in any way. I've just taken the overnight sleeper train from Agra to Varinasi (c. 9h). A mildly different experience. Got about 6+h sleep. Nothing like a train to rock one to sleep (and back to sleep after waking during the night) .
