re: The view from my "office"

Just came out of my last meeting for the day, and this is the view.

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm this is my standard view from my desk/window, though some times interrupted by a mob of Kangaroos traversing the property.

If you keep up those spekky shots from your HOUSE I am going to have to block you!

Jealous much? Yep.

LOL - This is not my house, it's where I go to......... umm.... work, (yep that's the word) which just happens to also be on acreage.

Boss's house/office is bigger (living/home area upstairs and I am down-stairs - next to the 16 car garage space, but I do have my own kitchen, bathroom and bar and 2 full size lounges to sleep on, opps did I say that out loud..) and on 45 acres.

I have 100 acres, which I share with rabbits, rocks and a few cows and assorted native wild-life.
Yes, I love my "space" music on full bore and chunky dunking in the pool, without the thought of neighbours. = Life is Good.

A Victorian collection of humming birds. Most, if not all, are extinct now I would think :(.

At the evening office in London: my favourite gastro pub in Chelsea. OK - you have to trip over the Bentleys, Rangies and other assorted automotive rubbish to get to and from it, but I think that's a small price to pay ;):).

Here's the main and its description (the salmon):

Started with a Perrier Jouet Champagne and the white wine is a Rias Baixas Albarino (NW Spain).

Albarino is one of my favourite whites. Not so commonly available in Australia but ideally suited to our style of cuisine and lifestyle IMHO - and of many in the Australian wine industry.

There is a disastrous story that some may be familiar with where a considerable investment by many wineries to introduce Albarino into Australia turned out that it was mis-identified and was really Savagnin, an obscure and rather plain blending variety that sounds awfully like Sauvignon. A practical, and marketing, nightmare :(.

More work done with a view like this ...but always time for a quick AFF check ......the BNE 'ATR carpark 'is currently empty.

I would post a photo of today's "office" but I'm not allowed photos on site

One of our clients is like that. Not surprising given it is with Defence! Can't even take mobiles on site.

.

An evening office probably needs its own thread, maybe it should come with spot the location.
