So who can tell me the purpose of the cane thingy in the corner under the lamp? I couldn't figure it out when I was in that office.

It's strong enough to sit on and admire the view. Not that comfortable though. Given the style of light above it I assumed it was for sitting but who knows.

Agree about the view. A cushion and back would have made it a lovely spot to just sit and sip on a drink.

Easy. The last seat taken when one is hosting a Frequent Flyer party in ones' Suite.

I did sit on it to take photographs for this thread many moons ago when I was there...

We certainly did...surprised quite a few family too

Douro Valley where the grapes for port are grown and fermented. Did a lot of port tastings and they were rather disappointing. Finally found something we liked but 80euro bottle :shock:
