We love Lisbon! Cheap, Beautiful & historical. We originally planned for Spain only but ended up with half the time in Porto and Lisbon. Unfortunately my partner has become quite sick so we couldn't do too much. Now not sure if we need to ditch Spain and come home early. Waiting to hear from the doctor. Finger crossed.

Porto was fantastic as well....we also drove around (northern) Portugal for a week and enjoyed it immensely. Hope your partner improves quickly and you don't have to cut short your trip.

The weather today was looking rather dull.


It might remind some of you of Melbourne so picked a day to head across the bay to meet someone who a few of you may recognize from a recent trip to Newcastle NSW.
