The view from my "office"

Will be in the office with this Cathedral View in Sevilla for the next 4 days. Couldn't get closer!

Enjoy - I'm just looking at accommodation in Seville for September - have some recommendations but any others gratefully accepted

We were looking at hotels before but didn't like any of them. Decent ones either expensive or not much view. We found this apartment called Puerta Cathedral apartments. They have a few apartments around but this one we have now is kinda duplex apartment right in front of the cathedral. The lift opens to our apartment and there are 3 floors. First floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Second floor is living room with balcony as in the photo I posted before. Third floor is another small balcony with sunlounges and same view. We have kitchen stuff and also a washing machine which is handy. Aircon in living room and bedrooms as well.

I think the space is about 100 sqm. We just don't have a hotel service but quite happy with paying just 226 euro a night for this. If you book direct with them, you get a free arrival airport transfer (or pick one breakfast). It's quite popular I think and there is only one of this apartment. Finally got a couple of photos uploaded from our visit to the CDC in Atlanta, there is a small visitors centre/museum just after front security so a quick drop off/pick up in an Uber isnt a problem.

Very easy to get in to, wished there was more to see but what was there was fascinating and I wished they had a couple of comfy seats so you could just sit and read all the info but I guess its not on most peoples itinerary.

Security just after you enter, shoes off ect and while we were regrouping we were approached by a Director of the CDC who thought we were part of a visiting group of scientist for a conference but was then more interested in what brought us to the CDC and not Coke World.

There was also an photography exhibition from their in house photographer of bugs and viruses that was very interesting. The things you dont think about but its someones actual job - this person works with scientists who need specific virus photos for their research papers, reports and studies (phd ect).

Another rotten day in the office (home office to the right distance in #3 :) ). Tassie wine tour participants of this time last year will remember these scenes.

This is the last photo (Seville) of this trip. Unfortunately my partner's condition isn't good to the point that we cannot enjoy our holiday anymore. We cancelled Mallorca and Barcelona and will be flying home soon.

Sorry to read that. Hope they are on the mend very soon!
