That zig zag bike path has been very contentious. Craggy Range actually put it in at significant cost - with council consent. But there has been such a public outcry at the appearance, including for local Maori, that it is about to be removed again and the land restored.

Yes we heard the story from the fellow at Akarangi who was not impressed with the people from CR.:)

The path is however very popular with walkers every time we went past there were dozens of cars parked and people walking up and down the track.

Nice to hear the Osbornes are still there! Our orchard is now bare land :(

Today’s office the Capilano Suspension Bridge, just north of Vancouver.

It’s the final days of “Canyon Lights”. The iPhone simply can’t capture just how stunning the Canyon looks when lit up by one million lights (or so they claim).

There’s are some amazing installations like these owls:

...and glowing spheres hanging above still water ponds. Once the sun set it was incredibly difficult to tell which were the lights and which were reflections.
