The view from my "office"

Miserable grey day in Sydney; however:20171226_140800.jpg
On the other hand.....
From left to right
sentosa Sunset coughail
Salt and pepper squid with spicy dipping sauce
Asparagus with bacon, poached egg and almond tarator
Mushroom Risotto
Kingston Punch

Now onto the Taittinger Brut Reserve

Am I correct in assuming that's the F Lounge? If so, I'm surprised they still use that awful cutlery.

I've got to put up with this view for the next seven days......

Looking forward to NYE.
Let’s hope there isn’t another fire then. And remember once the fireworks have passed through the city to look west to the Burj al Arab.

A belated Happy Christmas to all from my office this week.

It’s been pretty cool over here. Currently 22 degrees, but got to 16 at one stage today’s. That’s -6 and -9 respectively in Australian!

We managed almost an hour on yesterday’s walk in Central Park and found this waterfall struggling to maintain its flow. Miss H thought it was a scene from Frozen.

You can just see in the right of second picture an old friend I ran into after many years... Penfolds Koonunga Hill.

One drink and I remembered doing why we didn’t keep in touch.:)

But it was happy hour, so what the heck... three glasses later it was like we’d never been apart.
