Went there when we visited Cancun-photos don't seem to project the steepness. I remember our group were a little amazed by the young locals that were intent in running up and down the structure while some of us were dragging their coughs on the stone on the way downChichén Itzá... spot the iguana
Two tips - a) go early b) make sure you visit some of the other Mayan sites.
