The view from my "office"

Except occasionally you have a car speedo that under registers which was my unfortunate experience. And not just a little under but 10Kph.
So ever since I know what my true speed is.current Hyundai is on 100kph when reading 102 but at 60Kph it reads 65.

My understanding is that it is illegal for manufacturers to sell cars with under-registering speedos - but OK if they over-register. Hence why they err on the side of caution, I guess.

I guess fitment of non-standard wheels or tyres may mess with the speedo.

Menzies is the town closest to the Lake Ballard statues (there’s about 50 of them). I was there earlier in the year.

It’s a quite spectacular art installation - worth a visit if in the region or worth Googling to read the story.

The cellar I wish I had. It’s in one of the restaurants at Mandalay Bay. Three storeys high and a robotic arm places and retrieves each bottle when required.
