I discovered Maggie Beer ice-cream on my last trip in Business. I have never liked ice-cream before but now have had to put myself on rations. I love all her flavours.

Oh. Kapiti Ginger ice cream is my all time favourite.

Followed by Rush Monroes if you’re in Hastings (Hawkes Bay).

Aussie fav is Gundowing - especially the liquorice.

Imported - Movenpick.

Local gelato - Cow and Moon in Enmore, Sydney.

I am not a fan of Maggie Beer at all. Neither am I a fan of Gelato Messina - overrated and overpriced!

Ice cream (good stuff!) is my weakness!

Yes, settling in a couple of weeks. From my various smug posts here from time to time, you might be surprised. But I've had it 20 years, and its becoming more difficult to keep on top of maintenance-wise, but the main driver is my retirement, and the money has to work harder!

Market in Tassie has finally gone into top gear - one of the country's best performers in the past 6 to 12 months. I got an offer above asking price from a 'mainland' buyer (ker-ching!) before it was advertised, (agent did a top job), so happy to see it go!

After the Freycinet pinot, there's a Peter Lehman 1990 shiraz to try (both these wines I found in the clean-up of the place a few weeks ago ).
