The view from my "office"

Jealous, moi? Well only a little bit! I've booked a couple more LE Sofitel escapes, just have to work out how to time them.

When you say 'hot', how hot is it at the moment?

The current forecast for tomorrow and Monday is 37 and 40 degrees respectively! The UV is high too.

THE symbol of Innsbruck: the Golden Roof! The loggia with the roof, consisting of 2657 fire-gilded copper tiles, was added to the much older building in 1500 for Emperor Maximilian I and his new wife Bianca so that they could watch festivals and other events in the square below.

Just across the river from the old town is our hotel, the pink building. It has been hot in Austria, 31 to 33 degrees. We have sweltered in our 3* hotels without airconditioning. This hotel has aircon, but the weather has cooled with showers, so we don’t really need it anymore!

Are there lots of swim stops. What does one do if one doesn't swim.
There is a swim stop most days. If you don’t want to swim you relax on the lounges, watch the others etc with a nice cup of tea or coffee. They only last an hour or so and they don’t dominate the day.

Hmmm, that's a bit too warm! That pool looks very inviting. I hope you are enjoying LP, try to get to the Buffalo Dairy if you are interested.

Typical gloomy office view in Wellington, NZ. Took it as a sign I should stay indoors and enjoy the lounge, then a massage, then some more lounge time. So I did.

But the rainbow proved to be a sign of much better weather to follow.

Started off poor yesterday but turned into a really nice, warm afternoon! Lovely weather today in London, so assume Paris is the same. 27 and sunshine. 2 days of BBQ'ing in a row for me :D

Happy Birthday!
:D. It’s quite hot here now. Off to Budapest later this week to around the ‘90’s.

See your can of fosters and raise you a Brackie, dinner in Poland, love it when you can walk across a bridge and have a beer and eat in another country, Gorlitz in Germanny and Zgorzelec in Poland. Görlitz - Wikipedia

But my, has this place changed in the 11 years since I was last here. Disappointed to read this though, it was beautiful inside, when I get home I'll have to find my original images taken inside. I'll have to watch the GBH again and see if I recognise anything.

Oh the joy of joys returning to our real office in tropical BNE after 5 weeks away. Photos after half a can of Baygon.

Can’t buy these MFCs anymore. This one included print, scan, fax and TAD. No one makes these all in ones now. Will have to replace with two new devices.
