The view from my "office"

I did that when I was over there, it's pretty cheap too. Need to make sure the wind is good enough though!

I have done it to, but I just keep waiting for the day the news report says a paraglider has crashed into the Belmond.... Which is the most expensive hotel in Lima....It gets scary watching them.

Good location for sure. I was only there because that’s where the owner of the apartment further away that was my accommodation lived. I had arrived so early that they took me over to their place for breakfast and to wait until the previous guests had checked out. Lovely people and great service - and I got the view as a bonus!

Definitely not intending to go for a ride on one of those things! I freely admit to cowardice under some circumstances - and that’s very definitely one!

Which is Kate and which is Asher?:cool:

If any, Asher given it’s a brisbane street art festival. This is the link to the festival Home - Brisbane Street Art Festival
I think Kate's in the hoodie.

There is a Kate connection* to the pic. Just days before this photo was taken I saw her in the DXB F lounge and we were both on the EK flight to LHR. I was in J and then went on to....Berlin. I presume she was in Y** as I didn't see her in J.

* Very tenuous.
** Possibly F.

(Though not sure why there'd be a mural of either).

I am absolutely in awe over the people who do these murals. I can't draw anything that looks reasonable on a pad, let alone a bloody great high wall … and it looks so much more interesting than red, brown or beige brick (sorry to all the Sydneysiders, but I hate red brick boxes).

We had a mural painted on our fence when the kids were young and it still looks great today. (I tell people it was for the kids, but I used to love sitting out there thinking I was elsewhere … especially when dealing with problematic clients)! The lady said she used the best paints for longevity (and here is me, thinking paint is paint). Now we just have to wait for grandkids to make use of it! :rolleyes:
