The view from my "office"

Really? Thanks for the info then.
Ok no, sorry. It’s a great room. On the corner so you get a wide view as per my pics. There’s only 4 of these suites in the Hilton Cairns. Two of them have this view, two face the town and maybe 50 per cent of the view is of the opposite apartment complex. Still good but not as good. Room is spacious, with enough room for a free standing lounge area, two TVs (although so close together that it’s pretty irrelevant. Slightly larger balcony than normal too.

The downside is it’s noisy with the restaurant below, plus food smells come up. And the wind is pretty strong given the corner aspect and shape of balcony. But not fatal.

Sorry for misleading. You were dead on first time.

LOL
So I was right to be suspicious of your motives :p

Yep. Although my stay frequency has fallen away, and I’m maybe only 60/40 on getting this (or 822) when I book the room. Which is also dropping in frequency as it is exxy and really only worth it for a multi-day stay. I’ll post about my most recent stay in the relevant Hilton thread when I have time and have collected thoughts.

Beautiful views from this Office in Melbourne from the No 35 Restaurant Sofitel !! The food was excellent but the view trumped everything.

At the Curly Olympics the two best dogs were brothers sired by an Australian dog!!! What can I say.. we have some very nice CCRs here. Fantastic day despite the heat - 139 dogs entered and only a few scratchings due to the heat. Organisers, stewards, judges did an amazing job being out there all day.. And I also really appreciate the effort put in from the exhibitors and the dogs.. Wonderful day! Now I get to go through the 500 photos and videos over and over again for the next 4 years until the next one :D:D:D

Driving from Horsham to Adelaide and told my husband we were going to stop at Dimboola Pink Lake. Don't know what he was expecting because as we turned the bend, he starts saying, "It's PINK! It's PINK!".

In summer, when dry, they harvest pink salt.

Are they using AI, Uppy?

Also, what’s with ‘girls’. Has the dog world gone all PC?

Mr M you know I like to try and make everyone feel comfortable :)

Yes we do use AI.. That's what I am looking for both import and export.. But in this case the Australian sire was exported to Europe when he was a puppy.

Easier when they are small (pups) and ex Australia no quarantine. Not so easy getting a dog here.
