Very fast ride PER-MEL. Only just finished lunch at TOD

.
Well, what do I say about the lunch? The duck (no pic) was tasty but lacked any colour, so looked a bit meh when presented.
But - the mussels: phwoar - just phwoar!
As I said to Tony, the CSM: an inspired - but brave - dish for in-air. But it worked a treat. Who would have thought it possible?
It is new on the menu from 1 Sept.
Ah... have to love QF (Consistently Inconsistent (tm) (pat.)) for ‘You Just Wait And We Will Blow Your Socks Off From Left Field When You Are Least Expecting It’ (pat. pend.).
Brilliant! Would have to be the most unique in-air dish I can recall.
The Credaro (Carbunup - N Marg R) Chardonnay worked a treat. Credaro is really nailing it these days. Gosh, I can remember tramping over those paddocks years ago when those guys grew spuds...
Cheese was good with a Heathcote Estate Shiraz.
