Much more simpler than Central, using Andean and Amazonian ingredients. Only opened in August, will be a Top 50 restaurant very soon.Located right next door to Central in Barranco, Lima.

And the stand out dish of the day, Slow cooked Asado (roast beef) de coconut and Cashew Aji Just fantastic!

Forgot to add, whilst I didn't take a photo of the wine list, it's concise but with some exceptional selections. Overall its pricey, but not exorbitant , for 3 it was about $220 AUD for lunch , 3 courses for 1 person , two with 2 courses and few glasses of wine.

Mmmmm... LIM... scraps... perfecto :).

Battery Point, actually. :) I used to live just around the corner. Walked up and down that Hill on my way to and from school.

Close to the border I presume, I was on my walk to/from Coles in Sandy Bay ;)

Every day? Yikes, bet the fitness levels rose pretty quick as it was pretty darn steep!

Just heard on SBS the earliest cyclone has been forming over Solomon Islands. You are probably getting some residual wind from that. Only low grade one though but very early in the season for it.

Been blowing a lot in POM. Mrs swanning_it is a tad put out as I've been in meetings and she has been trying to lie around the pool! :(

Just watched a stressful programme on Ch 2 about a house build in Sandy Bay with views to the casino. I think that’s the right area? Massive over capitalisation but lovely views.
Yes, and the house was sold in Feb this year, though price not disclosed. They did manage to sell their one next door in 2012 though for about $2.5mil which they needed to to help the financing of the New one. Easy to find it on Google maps as I was interested to see its location and footprint.

I wouldn't buy in Sandy Bay for the view to the Casino :)

What was the program?

A few years ago $500,000 would have been 'massive over capitalisation' in Hobart :)

The show was on Channel 2. After 7.30 report. We were too jet lagged to think about changing stations but we did enjoy it.

In that case they made a huge mistake. Their view was pretty much 180+ and it was lovely. But the house build was massive and really just his office had the view. The original cottage completely lost their view. They were not able to build on an easement between the cottage and the coast so they built a massive walkway structure. They built an indoor pool which looked rather like a concrete bath. Not sure the partner was as excited as ‘her’ place was the original cottage. Which we also preferred. When they talked about costs the house next door hadn’t sold and they both looked rather glum. If as love_the_life has indicated it’s already been sold then that’s surprising. However it wasn’t the place that someone who couldn’t cope with stairs could possibly use and he looked maybe mid sixties in 2011. His dream not hers I’d suggest.

He refused to disclose how much the build cost but his original budget was 1.5 million. The presenter suggested it was double that. Plus the original cost of buying it and holding the place next door. So maybe a 4.5 million job back in 2012!

I just watched it. I love that program and can normally see some great features even if they weren't what I'd choose but didn't like that house much at all and he was a bit of a w@nker. Not as bad as the two guys who built in Trinity Beach a few weeks ago - they would have been the clients from hell
