The view from my "office"

Earlier today, Teotihuacán office.

Long way up ...

'Course I climbed it!

Then down again:

Now happily ensconced in the Hilton Exec Club for drinks and snacks. I tipped the barman/waiter well the first night and OK the second night. Tonight he greeted me by name and has been topping up quite enthusiastically!

I can't believe the air quality in Mexico City. Not crystal, but not bad either, considering ...

I have been most remiss, in my postings, of late......predominantly because my hotel stays consist of HI at Dunstall Park and Hilton Metropole at The NEC, Birmingham........However I have a new Hilton to add to my soon to be ending travels. The Hilton Canary Wharf London. Now in an earlier life this would have been located on the Isle of Dogs but it appears that this might not to be quite posh enough so Canary wharf it is. As an aside trying to find a decent pub on The Isle of Dogs is a nightmare - it is just a mass of of glass and steel and "gastropubs" serving Italian lager. Fortunately Sir Ian McKellen's pub, The Grapes is about a 20 min walk away.

Now......I reckon there is loads of scope for a car park in my latest view, but fear it will be turned into an office block rather than a decent multi storey car park.

And, just to prove that I wasn't lying about often riding around that part of Canning River shown yesterday by Daver6. My wife and I went there this morning and she decided to take a couple of photos without my asking. The sharp-eyed will notice that we are both riding electric bikes. We have had them for about a month as my knees have slowed me down on hills and my wife claims I ride too fast for her.

Shame I can't take any photos of the drive to my current office, just south of Manchester... Football player territory for some of the big clubs. HUGE gated houses, ugly green Lamborghini's in the drive...
