Weather perhaps not so PERfect today.

Speak for yourself.

It may have been cloudy, but it was still and mild. I went for a very pleasant 12km walk from City Beach to between Swanbourne and North Cott and back between about 3 and 5pm.

It was PERfect for clearing the head after a morning spent Excel-wrangling. 😜

New car broken already? 🤔

I actually was rained on during my third lap of the lake. Weather was glorious after of course.

On the slow road back to some normality.

My elder son is back in PERfection for a week. Must do lunch or dinner. A few places open but numbers, times and duration of a sitting limited. Must innovate.

Oysters shucked by him, with a couple of bottles of Champagne at his partner's home to kick things off before a 1500h booking for 90 minutes exactly at Odyssea at PERfect City Beach. A couple of bottles of Assyrtiko and one of a CA Zin rounded things out quite nicely.

It was a much more rushed exercise than usual but soooo good to get back out to a resto for a few scraps. :)

Walking around my neighbourhood I noticed someone had a heap of quinces on the ground so i stuck a note in their letterbox and asked if I could have them if they didn't want them. Got a text today to say take what you want. A young uni student who didn't even know what they were. Any recipe suggestions feel free to stick them in the recipe thread but lamb tagine with poached quinces is the first one I'm doing

What is that awful looking green/red/orange accompaniment to the side of the fish & chips? Terrible! It's meant to be just F&C!
It’s the Australian equivalent of mushy peas. MRSTMA bought the “meal deals”. You’d think she’d give up. She wants to keep me alive apparently for some reason she says.
