The view from my "office"

Encouraged by Major and the "Flowers in Toowoomba" thread, we went up to Kings Park today to have a look at some wildflowers. It was a very pleasant 30 C Perth day.

Love Kings Park..walked around it on various trips to Perth but haven't been there for around 15yrs 🙁

Need to organise a trip when my Vic leper status is revoked.

Is that Wave Rock? There is a festival on there very soon.
Hyden Rock aka Wave Rock, part of one of the four granite outcrops in the area.
Trip was a bit early to avoid school holidays and the wild flowers were still considering if they should flower......
Worth the wandering
Fred
PS Booked direct with the camp ground. Great stay and 150m from "the rock"

Do you think they were repelling diseased eastern staters trying to sneak in?

One can only hope... After all, we can now see that the SAS is HQd next to my PERfect beach for a reason... 😜

Let me fix something for you:

We have our fingers crossed that won't happen... :p

Life under our deity St. Marko and as far away as possible from Comrade General Secretary Dan and his DPRV apparatchik closed-rank cronies and Twitter-posting illiterate sinecured hangers-on is just bliss over here...:)

No wonder the SAS is in full training mode - they know what's really important, too... 😜

This is far too important to leave to sub-sub-sub-sub-contracted security guards - even when given that all-important diversity training (only).:p

The SAS (and/or the WAPOL TRG, as they use those big multi-seat Zodiacs, too) were only firing blanks today to conserve the real stuff. ;)

Oh well seems like not much of a welcome there. I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere. Time to take my significant other to the NT and Canberra and spend our money there.

Funny, I felt the same way when AU took 58 days to process Mrs FB's visa. By then, quarantine was paid for (instead of the government footing the bill, with no choice to self isolate as you know) and Europe re-opened, so Europe got our $$$ instead.
