I've friends in SIN at present so good to see the weather is looking good for them. Assume (that word again) you are Marina Bay Sands? Never stayed there so interested to hear your views.

Me too . MBS has a bad reputation - like the restaurant with great views generally has coughpy food.

A destination/ hotel report in the offing?

Edit: Just saw your comments on other thread, thanks. Hmmm .. might be worth a look, but if not a bucket list job, cost looks pretty extreme.

I can recommend this in hip Parte Vieja, the heart of San Sebastian: Gandarias Restaurant » Inicio. Excellent pintxos and great for aged steak, plus a good wine list. Stroll Calle de 31 Agusto and sample from the stunning array of pintxos along the way as each joint strives to out-play its neighbours, but save one night to do a steak and Riojas (plural deliberately ) at Gandarias!

All good, but we just kept going back to Gandarias.

Of course, there are the famous 3 Michelin starred places there, that I have not been to (very hard to get in), but they are all out of town.
