My flying office yesterday out of Conakry domestic 'airport'. The 'terminal' has not changed one bit since I last visited a decade ago.....

It was cool to see a (rare these days) 747 in the background, completely white.

I was in the exit row, but not on the side that had the actual door There is no extra legroom in this exit row!

The ride was much smoother than this might have suggested.

Everyone in the cabin gets a coughpit view at least

Ready for take off.

It's good to be back up in the air again!

Good luck for me and bad luck for my brother. Yesterday afternoon he called me to say that he was getting a cold and did not want to go to the AFL match between West Coast and Richmond and would I like a free ticket. So off I went with his wife to see the best match in Perth this year. This is the first time I have been inside this stadium and it is certainly very impressive.

It’s actually spider webs in the foreshore of a lake/pond (after some heavy rain).

He actually took a video of the webs rising and falling in the breeze, like waves on an ocean. Mother Nature is amazing.
