Authorities seem to be being a bit cautious? Seems to be an excess of ES?Not quite how I expected today to go...... but after >1 hour of CPR, I think she may have gotten through the worst of it and started breathing again.

It's interesting the first time I went to Cornwall (in 1982) and saw the beach at St Ives as I came in on the train I was pleased to see a proper beach in the UK - lots of lovely beaches down there. Glad to see you're getting out and about again. Adelaide into 7 day full lockdown todayOn a slightly cheerier note, that's probably one of the best beaches I've visited in the UK in terms of look & feel. A real golden sandy beach!

A little later on, we then headed to St Govan's Chapel which is nestled on the side of the cliff.

I think there were 7 or 8 drownings in the UK over the weekend so you can probably understand the response.Authorities seem to be being a bit cautious? Seems to be an excess of ES?
Freedom day? If Covid doesn't get you the sea will!I think there were 7 or 8 drownings in the UK over the weekend so you can probably understand the response.
It's all staffed by volunteers, so good on them I guess!Authorities seem to be being a bit cautious? Seems to be an excess of ES?
Having been in lockdown for most of this year it's been pretty difficult. Pretty much hit the wall, so dropped what we were doing, hired a car and booked accommodation (stopped caring about the cost and this point) and just hit the road. It's interesting the first time I went to Cornwall (in 1982) and saw the beach at St Ives as I came in on the train I was pleased to see a proper beach in the UK - lots of lovely beaches down there. It always grabs my attention when I see a group of fair skinned people sitting in the full sun with very few hats in sight and little sign of sunscreen. And there is obviously a pretty hot sun about going by that weather warning.
Still sitting in full sun with no head covering then the UV is going to be dangerous. My wife's cousin who lived most of her life in England died of skin cancer. Ireland sits at No.3 in the World rate of skin cancers, Norway at No.9 and the UK at 13th.Although the weather warning only tells of 'Extreme heat'. Might only be mid 20's ....
