I have a flight in whY coming up but thankfully only 40 minutesAfter an exclellent few days in HI it’s back to the mainland and reality.
Today’s office from the outside. Not a spare seat inside so suffice to say it was not the most pleasant red eye, especially in whY.

Sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes the other week in DFW after landing 10 minutes early with a 35 minute connection. D24 to D2 in about 2 minutes. Haven't hoofed it through an airport in about 20 years and next time I think I'll just accept the fact and make my way up and talk to the AAngels.A view I did not anticipate from an "office" I did not expect to be in today. Not really a car park, but there are some parking spaces. I am in the AA Admirals Club at the L gates at ORD. Having arrived 25 mins early from MKE we sat on the tarmac waiting for a gate just long enough for me to miss my connection.
Funny really, it feels quite liberating to be in a position to talk to lounge staff about getting the next flight - almost a return to normal. The AA staff member soon had me sorted and upgraded.
I hate it when you run for that tight connection.. only to find they haven't even started boarding!Sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes the other week in DFW after landing 10 minutes early with a 35 minute connection. Yes, thos 45m connections at HEL, having to pass through passport control from Schengen for a flight to Asia. Lots of warnings as you land, about anyone on the flights to HKG and LED to hoof it, only to find when you get there breathless that they are just starting to board the elderly and little kids!!I hate it when you run for that tight connection.. only to find they haven't even started boarding!
Hold my beer. This is as close as I could get to the car park view at my hotel in Monrovia, Liberia. Is it sufficient @TonyHancock ?

Not having much luck in finding my lost bag either, the airport wouldn't put any reference number on the form so the airline have said .... sorry .... can't help you. I guess I'll send them the bill for all the work clothes I need to go out and buy now, the airport is quite a way out of town so not easy to just pop over and stand over someone until a declaration number is provided. The baggage tag receipt is useless apparently and the airline can't do anything with it!
At least I had a nice view over dinner.
