Cost of hire car for 3 days was $600 ( Avis was about $700 and Hertz 1k ) with Europecar for the smallest MG. At the counter i was offered an A class Merc for an extra $25 a day, which to me was a no-brainer.What's the hire car cost like? I managed to secure 2 RAT packs ( 2 in each pack ) for the 3 of us, from my local Chemist Warehouse, whilst the girls were getting ready packing, which the Tassie entry requires- an honour system. We were not questioned, just scanned our Tassie e-travel qr code. A lot quicker than our 2 tassie trips in 2021.
