The view from my "office"

I had forgotten that is what the entertainment centre is called. The name was not mentioned by our tour leader, even though the Crowne Plaza is directly behind it. One metre away! One photo is from the lift at the hotel. There was a concert last night, so the Crowne was really busy.

I loved Taggart! It took a while to understand his accent, but I learned.
Its a case of MUDDA

I’m in the BA Lounge at Glasgow Airport. Small but extremely nice. Quite luxurious, actually. I decided to sit in the snug (Bar & Snug) at the end of the whiskey bar. A glass of champagne has been brought to me. Nice!
The staff have also offered to make me something while they clear breakfast and set up lunch. How good is that?!

Spent time in Australia, rumoured to have died of a broken heart following the death of his wife. :(

Sounds like you've entered an alternate universe.

The Glasgow Lounge really punches above its weight. Plenty of staff and excellent service. I mean, Prosecco in the fridge but they brought me champagne from the secret store! I stuck my head in the kitchen and told the ladies how great they are.

I am now in the Qantas everyone lounge in HLR terminal 3. Had a lovely chat with the bar manager. I cannot get champagne here because I have a BA boarding pass, so WP doesn’t count. The sparkling is Croser though.

I have four hours to spare, so I am going to visit the Cathay lounge next door soon.

Yes, it's a little known secret that in the scummy (sorry, J) BA lounges you can ask for champagne. Self pour is only prosecco (used to be nothing for self pour).

I'd definitely be hopping over to the CX lounge, pronto. The AA F lounge has decent dining too.

Well, Cathay First lounge had three champagnes, but not a lot else for me. I was hoping for a good Asian meal, but it didn’t happen. Even the risotto was not gluten free! A nice ginger pannacotta and a pot of green tea, and back to BA for me..

If you're in BA now, the ice cream fridge is back.

Looks like Montenegro? Perast?

My office to LGW, was only £5 more for Exec over Uber X due to a promo so why not, brand new Merc E class electric (EQE?).

My current office, LGW N terminal, Plaza Premium lounge. I like the spicy tomato juice they do. "Would you like some vodka in that, sir?" "Erm, it's 8.15am....?" "Yes sir, but look at everyone else around you" *sees everyone drinking wine, beer etc.* Ah, yes, LGW North is definitely a much more holiday oriented crowd.

3 in J on the flight today, so 27 seats going out empty.

Did my usual scrambled eggs test, real eggs and has some chives in them. One of the better ones. The snaggers however, were terrible.

I think this might be my last trip for a while, self imposed travel ban after this and maybe also won't bother going for country #100 either.

I think I might be in the same boat but for a different reason.
We are doing a Japan trip soon, but I have had a recent head injury, a fall and knocked unconscious and things are not normal yet !! Hopefully I return to my normal coughy self, rather than this forgetful happy person 👠👜🥂

My Oslo “office” for three nights is the Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeateret. The windows only opens a fraction, hence the narrow view. Double glazed, so no street noise when windows are closed. The room rate includes breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. My TA was astonished at the price I am paying. I booked one night using the QF hotel voucher and the other two night as classic rewards. I’m very happy!

Downside is no plug in the bathroom basin. I have already forgotten that good advice to bring one with me. ☹️

But wait until you see my next “office”……

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. If that's the winning combination to be happy again, then perhaps I need a knock on the head too! 🤕 Stuck in a rut I can't seem to get out of. The usual things aren't working.
