The view from my "office"

My Oslo “office” for three nights is the Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeateret. The windows only opens a fraction, hence the narrow view. Double glazed, so no street noise when windows are closed. The room rate includes breakfast, afternoon test and dinner. My TA was astonished at the price I am paying. I booked one night using the QF hotel voucher and the other two night as classic rewards. I’m very happy!

Downside is no plug in the bathroom basin. I have already forgotten that good advice to bring one with me. ☹️

But wait until you see my next “office”……
Plug it with a hand towel.

I think I might be in the same boat but for a different reason.
We are doing a Japan trip soon, but I have had a recent head injury, a fall and knocked unconscious and things are not normal yet !! Hopefully I return to my normal coughy self, rather than this forgetful happy person 👠👜🥂

Can’t really “like” of “laugh” because it is sad you had a fall and concussion. Hope you are back to full strength soon, with whichever personality.

Looks like Montenegro? Perast?

My office to LGW, was only £5 more for Exec over Uber X due to a promo so why not, brand new Merc E class electric (EQE?).

My current office, LGW N terminal, Plaza Premium lounge. I like the spicy tomato juice they do. "Would you like some vodka in that, sir?" "Erm, it's 8.15am....?" "Yes sir, but look at everyone else around you" *sees everyone drinking wine, beer etc.* Ah, yes, LGW North is definitely a much more holiday oriented crowd.

3 in J on the flight today, so 27 seats going out empty.

Did my usual scrambled eggs test, real eggs and has some chives in them. One of the better ones. The snaggers however, were terrible.

I think this might be my last trip for a while, self imposed travel ban after this and maybe also won't bother going for country #100 either.

All sorted with your phone? Have a rest, #100 can wait…

Sort of. Had to go and by a new one as insurance was taking too long. Of course the day I then went and picked it up, the insurance replacement was delivered. All good, Mrs FB can now have a new phone too. Total cost of the incident was around £1,700. I was doing an A-Z of countries cuisine, too - have put that in the trash for now also.

Now my Antananarivo, Madagascar office. It's getting drier and drier with each trip I do.

I've been booked into the wrong hotel (albeit a nicer one, but less suitable location for my plans)... but at least it has a decent carpark view, including watching the locals kick the ball around!
