Today’s “office” was so much more interesting than I expected. The Michelin Museum, Clermont-Ferrand, France. I highly recommend the guided tour, then an extra hour or so to go back through the museum again.

In the 1960s, this automobile was made to test tyres for trucks on a test track. A Citroen for the front part, the body was built to contain the test reading machinery.

The future. The middle tyre has no inner air area. The right hand wheel is for use on other planets. The left hand wheel has a tyre overlay. Read description below. It is being tested on delivery vehicles, mainly the Post Office.

Spent some more time in Dalhousie today. Scored a private visit to the St Patricks church (great cedar ceilings all hand crafted) within the army compound & had the Lord's prayer sung in Hindi. After that it was out to Kalatop Sanctuary.
