Club Millesime office in Mumbai
Not a great wine list but food is nice and only a few people in here. Staff are absolutely gushing us and according to the manager they don’t see too many Diamond members in this neck of the woods.

Wifi is very slow to load photos (suspect doesn’t cope well with file size) but today was the tourist iconic Flam railway with an early start of 9.15am. Lovely weather and spectacular scenery though the station of Myrdal where the train turns round was somewhat underwhelming as it is a working station with the train to Bergen departing while we were there.

Last day in Hua Hin this morning, stayed at the Laksasubha Resort. Rustic old school (not Marriott or Accord), fantastic place to stay and great staff. Still monsoonal ATM but makes for a great sunrise over breakfast. (The minced pork noodle breakfast soup was next level good)

And the adjacent pool area...

Checked out, grabbed a Grab then caught a Thai AirAsia X up to Chiang Mai. Paid the not much extra for the hour flight flight; preordered meal, row 1 to ourselves etc. The cabin crew efficiency was something else.




Now staying at the Pingviman Hotel in Old Town, Chiang Mai for a few nights.

Fun fact: Chiang Mai was founded in 1296.
