It's amazing you go away for a few days and no jacarandas are flowering and you come back and they are in full bloom (and yes this is Adelaide and I don't care that they've been flowering elsewhere for ages.

London badly needs rain. The buildup of dogsh!t on the pavements is very challenging to avoid. Saw a guy yesterday who had to turn around and go home to change after he finished up with it all over his shoes, socks and the bottom of his trousers.

On our e-bike “offices” this afternoon from Busselton to our resort, we saw this critically endangered Western Ringtail Possum. He crossed the cycle path and climbed the peppermint tree. Poor little thing had a bloody nose, but seemed otherwise okay. Predation by cats and foxes, plus habitat loss, has caused their decline.

Mekong Baby, no that's a great restaurant in Ponsonby, Auckland.

Nagi boat trip down the Mekong from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang, with an overnight in Pak Ben. Most shots are on my camera, these taken with my ipad.

For the Geologists here, lot's of strange rock formations jutting out of the water and much mining, I was told alluvial gold. will post more later.

Lunch was included, quite good,, especially the curry!
