The morning train was a "limited express", hurtled through 10 stations, thought I was on a Shinkansen !

Was that Mordialloc Creek? We walked around there a couple of years back and there were some classic old timers in that little marina.

The use of the word Shinkansen is misspelled when referring to the line featured.

Replace the first "n" with a "t" and it would be more accurate.

And nice at our local beach. We can see our place from here. There’s a Greek Festival just adjacent and all we can hear is the plate smashing competition. Tide out today.



Meanwhile the grandkids have invented a toddler version of dodgem cars.





Son has a huge back room in his rental that I’ve told him not to furnish. Before the dodgem track it was a cricket pitch and the open boxes were fielders.

Exciting stuff, eh?

It was then onto Trim Castle, and I'd really recommend doing the guided tour (€5) while there, it's the only way to get inside the keep. The grounds are free to wander around. Our tour guide was very good, very chatty and knew lots of stuff about stuff. It helps there was only Mrs FB, myself and 2 other travellers.


Trim was a nice enough little town to wander around too.

Looks like they've updated the intercity busses.
