The view from my "office"

Update:
And sad to say, helicopters overhead and sirens have been going off all afternoon here.
So far, reports of an epileptic seizure, a heart attack, and jet ski into boat accident. 1 adult and 2 children airlifted to hospital 😒
(Surfer Flyfrequently's mate is a local copper)

And a drowning this morning on the other side at Gunnamatta.......

Very comfortable “office” at the Pullman Sydney Airport. I won’t post from the QF F lounge “office” tomorrow morning as it has been shown numerous times. I’ll just enjoy my eggs Benedict in peace. 😄

It was a lovely evening in Perth so we had a takeaway meal on the banks of the Swan River and then had a walk to look at the new Boorloo Bridge. It is a pedestrian/cyclist bridge that was opened just before Christmas.

In daylight it doesn't look all that exciting. It was sunset so the lights are just coming on.

However it is a different matter when the lights are fully on and the light show happens

The bridge has two spans over water and a pathway on Heirisson Island. At times the second span cable lights, in the distance in this photo, form images of birds flying. The bridge was packed earlier and the crowd started to thin out around 20:00.

There are LED downlights about every metre on the railings. Images are also shown on the pathway

The Matagarup Bridge and Optus Stadium are a little upriver

This the normal lighting of the bridge. You can see the lights of the WACA to the left. The purple 'curve' behind the left span is the Matagarup Bridge.
