Thanks. Our trees do not have fruit or pods/seeds etc. I see this tree everywhere in the area and I have never seen fruit.
Perhaps it has a small fruiting window - generally speaking, all flowering plants produce a fruit, some are just very subtle.

Roses are doing OK. Some looking raggedy but some thriving giving out branches everywhere. Lots of flowers, lots of new buds. Bought 4 new plants.

Built another garden bed. Here I'm going to try hydrangeas. They look gorgeous but can be expensive with up to $30/plant.

The locals have never seen anything like it. We planted on a Tuesday morning from memory and more than a dozen people stopped to have a look with some coming inside to take photos and ask questions.

I'm hoping they'll end up like these hydrangeas I saw in Earlwood in Sydney last week.

We also bought another 3 flower trees with purple and pink flowers. Think they will take some time to grow.

Can I still call it a humble home?

It’s your sanctuary so its paradise.
To me my home is as much emotional as bricks and mortar (humble or not)!
Enjoy🌻

Hydrangeas grow readily from cuttings. You should never need to buy one.
